Yichen Zhang

Yichen Zhang is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focuses on the following broad topics: (1) How to detect and understand the responses, adaptations, and feedbacks of terrestrial ecosystems to global environmental change? (2) How to improve land surface schemes to provide reliable predictions? She earned a Ph.D. in Physical Geography from Peking University and a B.S. in Geographical Information Science from Wuhan University.
