Fujiang Ji is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology, University of Wisconsin-Madison. His current research focus on leaf functional traits estimation, hyperspectral remote sensing, radiative transfer modeling and machine learning. Before joining UW-Madison, he earned a Master degree in Cartography and Geographic Information System from Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. His master’s research integrated process-based modeling, remote sensing, data assimilation to estimate crop yield, soil available nutrients, etc. He received his bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, China.
