Yin Liu

Yin Liu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research integrates satellite, airborne, drone, near-surface, and field observations to monitor ecosystem dynamics and investigate their responses to climate change. He earned his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, dual master’s degrees in Data Science and Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).
