We are so pleased to celebrate Meng Luo on the successful defense of her PhD dissertation.
Meng’s dissertation, Quantifying the Impacts of Forest Carbon Change on Future Land Use and Land Cover Change Projections, makes an important contribution to our understanding of how forest management and environmental change shape future land systems. Her work brings together innovative modeling approaches to improve land use and land cover projections, while also addressing key sources of uncertainty in these models. This research provides valuable insights for future studies of climate change, carbon cycling, and land-based mitigation strategies.
