We are thrilled to celebrate Fujiang Ji on the successful defense of his PhD dissertation.
Fujiang’s dissertation, Understanding the Dynamics of Plant Functional Traits Across Spatial, Temporal, and Biological Scales Using Multi-Source Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Observations, advances new ways of using remote sensing to better understand plant traits across ecosystems. His work developed creative and rigorous methods to improve trait estimation across species, locations, and seasons, and introduced promising new approaches for combining hyperspectral and high-resolution imagery. Together, these contributions open exciting possibilities for monitoring plant function and ecosystem processes from space with greater accuracy and detail.
We are very proud of Fujiang and grateful for his contributions to the lab.
